Since the launch of the Messengers of Peace Initiative in 2011, most of the NSOs in the Asia-Pacific Region has advanced in the implementation of this initiative. As a result, we have seen the enthusiasm and commitment of young people in undertaking the Peace Activities throughout the region. Based on the statistics available on www.scouts.org, MOP Initiative is very well progressing. But yet there is so much work to do. There are NSOs that are continuously progressing while others need some more motivation and guidance. Therefore, APR MOP Core Team Meet will be the best platform to re-energize the entire region to give a boost in engaging and inspiring more young people as Messengers of Peace towards becoming Global Active Citizens.
