On the occasion of Ambachimela which is also known as Ambachi Festival in North East , India, the Rovers/Rangers and Ubit Leaders from Assam and N.F.Railway rendered their services to serve the pilgrims at Mata Kamkhya Temple, Guwahati from 22nd to 26th June 2016.They helped the administration in making queues, supply of drinking water, First aid, Cleanness of Kamakhya Temple, Toilets, and Garbeges etc.. About 6000 Rovers/Rangers and Unit Leaders participated in this Service Camp. The Camp was Conducted By from Assam Mr Ajoy Das, Assam State and Mr Khagesh Kumar Das, SOC (S), N.F.Railway.MR Ashok Kumar Mohapatra , Assist. Director, NER Visited the Camp on 24th and 25th June 2016.
