AMATEUR RADIO COURSE

LABUAN: A total of 45 members and 7 Chief Scout of the various teams, including from SMS Labuan, SMK Labuan, Sekolah Menengah Agama council and SMK Mutiara has successfully followed the course Handling Amateur Radio 2016 has been organized by Team Training School, Scouts Association of Malaysia in collaboration with the Scout 19th. The course was held at SMS Labuan. The objective of this course is to expose participants to use the method of communication via radio waves, and to communications needs in times of disaster. The program is held in conjunction with the Jamboree OnThe Air (JOTA) national level, where radio stations across the country opened their respective prescribed frequency and interact with each other. Two calls in Labuan stations opened at this time of 9W6SIM activities and 9W6RMD. Participants who successfully completed the program were awarded certificates and badges by the Deputy Chairman of BP Guild Labuan En. Parno Wongso.
