say no to plastic.......... #climate action #life below water #life on land to make a plastic free world can't possible in a day it can achieve through a ongoing process of awareness. plastic pollution is the most widespread problem affecting Marine environment. it also threatens ocean health, food safety and quality, human health, coastal tourism and contributes to climate change. physical impact on marine life: entanglement, ingestion starvation. chemical impact: the build up of persistent organic pollutants like PCB and DDT. transport of invasive species and pollutants from polluted rivers to remote areas in the ocean. so stop throughout of plastic in rivers and beaches our members create a solution of reusing plastic at home in different ways. they also create awareness on say no to plastic by making pen stand and planting Pots from coconout cell and some decorative items for home decor by reusing plastic avail at home. total 86 members from different districts of odisha state Bsg were involved in this initiative action with the mission to make our World plastic free.
