Air Scouts took the skies by riding Piper PA28
A total of 48 Scouts participated for this wonderful event. It was made possible with one of the flying school academies located in Shah Alam. Besides having a great ride on a Piper Warrior II PA-28-161, the most salient point is enable the Scouts having a practical contact on the ground and air which eventually leaves an enjoyable experience for them. We hope, in the near future we are able to see them to set off to be a pilot as their main career choice.
We are most grateful to be able to partnership with one of the flying academy for opening their doors to take the participants for a 30 minutes circuit flight with the approval from all the stakeholders. Safety is our main concern and priority.
All the participants (48) have the stunning close up flight on a four-seaters light aircraft. That awesome flight provided the best opportunity and unforgettable experience for the teens of which the majority between the ages of 13 to 17. In years to come, we are hopeful that they will inspire to be an airline pilot or serving as air force pilot. For the Flying Academy, in assisting us and in their CRM program is indeed laudable and timely as well.
In short, we hope some of the teens will be inspired and motivated after this project and we will continue to explore and partnership with aviation industry players for further opportunities.
