In preparation for the latest badge of King Scout Candidates, an 80km expedition from Petaling Jaya to Subang Jaya was organised by Petaling District Scout Leaders. The hike starts at SMJK Katholik PJ to SK Sri KL. The hike was organised by the District Program Team led by Mr Darren Kam and advised by Mr Ekbert Yong, Mr Colin Khoo, Mr Ngoo Kee Min, and Mr Ghasid Mohd Saleh. The whole purpose of this hike was to fulfill the required to achieve the Expedition Badge of the 5 Highest Badges of the Senior Scout Unit in preparation for their King Scout. As many as 80+ Senior Scouts participated with a total of 30+ Leaders volunteering throughout the 4D3N hikes. The expedition tests their backpacking, cooking, hiking, weather prediction, and estimation skills. A simple community service project is also carried out in order to ensure the Scouts help out the community. From this activity, the Scouts learned to be persistent, strong, proactive, honest. A strong bond of teamwork amongst the members of the patrol and leadership were made.
