On the 17th of June 2017, we are back again on a hike up the Broga Hill in Semenyih. It is an annual hike we have every year and yes, we are back again, bigger, better and stronger. Waking up early at dawn, we met up and did the attendance check. Then, we departed for the Broga Hill. Fact: Broga Hill is a famous hiking spot in the State of Selangor, in Malaysia. Upon arrival, our scoutmasters briefed us on safety and hiking etiquettes. Then, we did some stretching and left for the hike. Along the way, we enjoyed the nature around us and learned about the flora. We did have some rests before reaching the peak. After about 40 minutes, we finally reached the peak. We took some pictures and did some service work such as collecting rubbish at the peak. Once we were done, we descended for the foot and had a debrief, marking the end of the activity. Overall, it was a great experience and it was indeed worth it waking up really early in the morning for this hike. Til then, Happy Scouting :)
