60 Minutes for Earth

Earth hour is a global idea or initiative for individuals, communities, businesses, and governments around the world to contribute to climate change mitigation symbolically through the action of turning off lights and electronic devices for 1 hour at 20.30 - 21.30 local time. Therefore, we, the Pemalang Scout Project community, support by participating in socializing and participating in these activities.

On March 8-10, a large meeting was held with regional coordinators. Then each coordinator met with their members for action, starting from socialization to turning off the lights, activities were carried out by members both in groups and individually. The process lasted for 11 days.

By reducing greenhouse gas emissions through Earth Hour activities, we contribute to efforts to combat climate change that is increasingly threatening our earth. Climate change has caused various adverse impacts such as rising global temperatures, increased frequency of natural disasters, and changes in weather patterns.
