Global Goal 6 : In Action with Scouts of India. Am greatful to be a part of waterdepartment of 28th Karnataka State Jamboratte ,Bharat Scouts and Guides ,India. We Rovers and Rangers of BSG State Association Karnataka,India had gave our level best for the attainment of Water Supply and Sanitation in the environment of State Jamboratte which enclosed of 5000 Scout movement members. Am thankful to our water department incharge Nithin Amin sir for guiding and giving this opportunity in the historical moment of Jamboratte. Nearly, 18,20,000 Litters of water supplied by Jamborette's Water Department for the each inches of jamborette areas like: *Tents *Scout kitchen *Guides kitchen *Central kitchen *Swimming pool *Adventure Base *Better world village .etc. It's inspired to be share that water department have been rendered service for everyday 24 hours to the environment of Jamboratte @Dr Annie Besant State Training Centre, Doddaballapur,Bengluru, Karnataka State, India. We not only supplied water but also saved it from Wastage. GOAL 6 IN ACTION cleanwaterandsanitation To ensure clean water and sanitation for all, we all have to take action. Get inspired here. THE TARGETS Everyone can help to make sure that we meet the Global Goals. Use these eight targets to ensure clean water and sanitation for all. Target :6.1 SAFE AND AFFORDABLE DRINKING WATER By 2030, achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water for all. Target :6.2 END OPEN DEFECATION AND PROVIDE ACCESS TO SANITATION AND HYGIENE By 2030, achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all and end open defecation, paying special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations. Target :6.3 IMPROVE WATER QUALITY, WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND SAFE REUSE By 2030, improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping and minimizing release of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increasing recycling and safe reuse globally. TARGET 6.4 INCREASE WATER-USE EFFICIENCY AND ENSURE FRESHWATER SUPPLIES By 2030, substantially increase water-use efficiency across all sectors and ensure sustainable withdrawals and supply of freshwater to address water scarcity and substantially reduce the number of people suffering from water scarcity. Target :6.5 IMPLEMENT INTEGRATED WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT By 2030, implement integrated water resources management at all levels, including through cooperation as appropriate. Target :6.6 PROTECT AND RESTORE WATER-RELATED ECOSYSTEMS By 2020, protect and restore water-related ecosystems, including mountains, forests, wetlands, rivers, aquifers and lakes. Target :6.A EXPAND WATER AND SANITATION SUPPORT TO DEVELOPING COUNTRIES By 2030, expand international cooperation and capacity-building support to developing countries in water- and sanitation-related activities and programmes, including water harvesting, desalination, water efficiency, wastewater treatment, recycling and reuse technologies.
