2020 FOUNDERS DAY CELEBRATION WITH YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

We had the Founders Day Celebration on the 22nd of February in Lautoka Primary School where close to 798 scouts and 67 scout leaders participated in one day event where peace activities like planting tree, Alele, MoP Stations, Cooking and peace dialogue were done. As the National Scouts Coordinator, I also took scout souvenirs like peace ballers, peace wrist bands and peace stickers to distribute and at the same time share the initiatives of Messengers of Peace to the Scouts, Cubs, Rovers, Venturers and Scout Leaders. We were also able to honor one of our longest serving scout leader - Mr. G.R.Swamy aged 87 with a Peace Award Plaque.
