The Roosevelt College Rodriguez Senior Scout Movement Messengers of Peace Team (RCR SSM MoP Team), in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Rodriguez has conducted several projects for the students of Mascap National High School - Puray Annex.

3. Distribution of groceries
4. Walk the World - Messengers of Peace Initiative
5. Clothe the Globe - Messengers of Peace Initiative
The day started as the Scouts ventured off to Sitio Puray with the help of the trucks sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rodriguez. Upon reaching Puray, the Scouts arranged the goods and items to be given to the students of Mascap National High school - Puray Annex.
While the Scouts are distributing the grocery goods sponsored by Roosevelt College Rodriguez ESP 9 department, which were given to 128 students, another mission was simultaneously being done. The medical mission, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rodriguez, is conducting free tooth extraction and reading glasses and medical check-ups for the villagers.
After conducting such, the service projects of RCR SSM MoP Team, were done, namely, the “Walk the World – MoP Initiative” and “Clothe the Globe – MoP Initiative”. Sets of clothes and slippers were given to the students, giving over 174 pairs of slippers, and sets of clothes just enough for them. With smiles on their faces, hands full of goods, their stomach were made full as well.
To end the satisfying day, Roosevelt College Rodriguez Young Chef’s Club also held a feeding program intended for the students of Mascap National High school - Puray Annex.
After conducting these, the students of Roosevelt College Rodriguez went back home with the help of the vehicles, again, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rodriguez. While on their way down the mountains, the truck can no longer support the weight of the people on it while it was going uphill. The Scouts and the members of the Rotary Club of Rodriguez, were forced to hop off. Despite hiking for 2 hours 16 rivers crossed and an occasional pouring of rain, all of them were still smiling, enjoying the hike. When they have reached Mascap National High School - Main, a truck was waiting for them all, and they finally have reached home, leaving the students back at Mascap National High School – Puray Annex with grins on their faces.
