The 2016 National Malaysia Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) was held on 6th August 2016 and Bintulu Scouts with the station of 9M4CPB participate on the event from 7am till 6pm with about 150 individuals including participants, scout leaders, visitors and amateur radio volunteers which was located at SMK Kemena, Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. Using the G5RV Jr antenna and the Kenwood TS-590 and Yaesu FT-897 set, this station manage to make various QSO with other stations with signal of 57 to 59. Myself who acted as the Station Manager for 9M4CPB with the individual callsign of 9W8ALV together with the help of the Amateur Radio Club Sarawak (ARCS) members set up the station as early as Friday evening to ensure smooth flow of the event the next day. On the actual day, about 61 QSO's had been made by the participants to various Malaysia Scout JOTA Stations and the station close up at around 5pm.
