My first scouting event I attended. It was a three day event and was held at the Bolbok National High School, Lipa City . There, the scouts from the different institutions covered by the local council gather towards a sponsoring institution and handle a diplomatic solutions towards a problem based within the community. When the event started we were oriented about the basic things about a youth forum. The basic process in creating a resolution is called a SPEAR which stands for Subject, Problem, Existing projects, Agencies involved, and Resolution. As hours of conversations passed by, the SPEAR ends up into two decisions, to be trashed or to be passed. It was a very exciting and joyful event where we met new scouts and became friends with. Also, I became familiar about process used by our government in passing such laws or ordinances. It is a event that I will not forget.
