1st Online Proficiency Badge Course of BMSCSG-2020

It is also the second Online intra group badge in the history of Bangladesh Scout.

The proficiency badge course was started with generous support of 13 Hussars Open Rover Scout Group on 22nd june.

103 scouts in them 6 trainers and 3 rovers, were present.Among them 6 were in the technical support, 3 were in the help desk. The help desk was used if any participants had any technical problem. The course was successfully conducted for 8 days (22nd june to 30th june)

Now about the journey.....
16th June, the project was proposed by our Former SPL under the "Covid-19 Project Action" of the 13th Hussars ORSG.

18th june, our project was accepted and an supervisor team was given from 13 Hussars Open Rover Scout Group to help us conduct the course.

19th june, the badges were selected by the BMSCSG via Facebook poll by me.

22nd to 25th June, the course was conducted and the trainers took class of the participants...

29th to 30th june, the assessment took place
30th june, the closing ceremony also took place after the assessment was over..

What is badge course??
Its basically a course from which scouts get skilled on their desired proficiency badge.
A scouts get the badge by learning about the subjects.

The classes were conducted on Online via Zoom app.. And was recored and stored in Google drive. The videos were provided who couldn't attain the classes for any problem or limitations

The first day was undoubtedly a success with the participation of more than 40 scouts.The Course had been continued for 3 more days and the awaited final assessment was held on 29th and 30th june, 2020.

The assessment test and viva was done with the help of ZOOM app.
The closing ceremony and the cultural program also took place on zoom with presence of the honourable Guests...

Why we did it?
As for the pandemic the scouts were passing monotonous time... And they could also enjoy and learn scouting and its aspects... This course helped them to learn and pass a good time.
We always wanted to make our Unit more skilled and developed, this course helped us to achieve it...
