Last Saturday to Sunday, a Sarawak Career & Training Fair 2017 was held at the Borneo Convention Center Kuching. Scouts from different schools took turns to go. Some were on Saturday and the others Sunday. Our school, 1st Kuching, went on Sunday. When we first arrived, we explored the building and surveyed several exhibition stands. I was impressed with the amount of exhibitors displaying many job offers. After that, we went for a 2 hour long motivational speech given by several motivators. After the speech, we explored a little more and went to the ground floor which was the STEM Playground. The STEM Playground is a playground for kids of all ages to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering & mathematics. After exploring the playground a little, we ate our lunch at the cafeteria. Our parents arrived shortly afterwards, we each went home till I was the last scout there. I walked around a little more, the place was still crowded so I took a few pictures and finally my parents came. I went home feeling happy knowing that my day was well spent. And I intend on joining other activities involving scouts that are yet to come.
