Subhas Scout Group organised it's 1st Group Scout Youth Forum from 26 to 27 November 2016 at Baden Powell Hall, ICF District Headquarters, Chennai. The Theme of the youth forum was 'Inspire' in which 19 Delegates & 8 Observers participated representing from various Patrols and Crews of the group. The Youth Forum was inaugurated by Shri. V. Arivazhagan, Group Leader Scouts in the presence of Shri. D. Udayakumar, Scout Master, Shri. K. Sridhar, Cub Master and other group officials. The Youth Forum was lead by Shri. A. Veeramani, Chair/Group Youth Committee and was steered by Shri. N. Lakshmi Kiran, Secretary/GYC. The Provisional agenda of the youth forum was on Reflection of projects 2016, Personality Development, Advancement of Scouts& Rovers, Formation of Sub-Committees, WOSM Better World Framework, WAGGGS Global Advocacy Initiatives, UN Sustainable Development Goals, Projects 2017, Screening the film 'Before the Flood', Discussion/Adoption of the Youth Forum recommendations and evaluation. The Delegates and Observers were given various inputs on the agenda and the Delegates voted and passed the resolution of the youth forum recommendations to the Group Council.
