To celebrate the birth of our Beloved Gyalsey (Prince of Bhutan), 11th year of enthronement of our Beloved King and to commemorate the 110th National Day, a total of 103 Nazhoen scouts, 8 escort scout leaders, 8 resource team, and 8 volunteers gathered for the camp. The three day camp provided opportunity for the scouts to experience the outdoor camp life and also strengthen the relationship among the scouts and share their ideas and experiences and to promote the spirit of brotherhood amongst all scouts. It was also to promote cultural and spiritual education through cultural competitions and spiritual practices.

The resource and the volunteer team arrived at the camp site (Laptsakha PS) on the 13th December 2017 to prepare for the camp. The participants arrived on the evening of 14th December 2017. 

All Scouts are Messengers of Peace, spreading the wings of peace wherever they go through any activity they carry out. Nazhoens Scouts were engaged in Messenger of Peace activities such as interpretation of ‘what Peace means to me’ and playing the networking game with a ball and strings. Besides fun and learning, the Nazhoens learned the importance of networking and mindfulness. They were also oriented on the registration on scout.org.
