The 17th International Adventure Programme was started on 16th Feb. 2015 at N.A.I., Pachmarhi with the Flag Ceremony. Total 488 participants from Andhra Pradesh (3), Assam(5), Bihar (3), C. Railway (50), Chhattisgarh (2), E. Railway (43), Gujarat (9), Haryana (28), Jammu & Kashmir (1), Karnataka (2), Jharkhand (7), Madhya Pradesh (27), Maharashtra (13), N. Railway (45), N. E. Railway (36), N. F. Railway (23), Odisha ( 8), Rajasthan (10), S. E. Railway (52), Uttar Pradesh (84), W. Railway (37) attended the programme. During the Integration Session, participants were welcomed by Mr. M. S. Qureshi, Jt. Director, NTC & Leader of the Programme. The Opening Ceremony was held on 17th Feb. in which Mr. Narendra Kumar, I.F.S., The Principal Chief Conservator Forest, Forest Department Wild Life, Government of Madhya Pradesh was the Chief Guest. He blessed all the participants and advised them to improve their morality. On 21st Feb evening all participants witnessed Army Band at Army Education Corps, Pachmarhi. 22nd Feb., Thinking Day was obserred. Peace march was organized to mark the celebration to Pachmarhi market and also rendered social service activity by was participants. On ninth day i.e. 24th February. The Grand campfire was organised in which Shri B. I. Nagarale, I.A.S. (Retd.) Hon’ble Chief National Commissioner was present as a the Chief Guest and Mr. Patidar, Dy. CPO, WCR, Jabalpur, Mr. Wankhada, NPCC, Zonal Manager, Raipur, Jt. Director (SS), Dy. Director (Project), NTC & NAI Staff witnessed the Colorful Programme presented by the participants. Programme Mementoes were presented to Chief Guest & others guest. The Participants presented cultural programme which were highly appreciated by all the guests. During the programme, activities such as Rock Climbing, Traversing, Commando Climbing, Jumaring Obstacles crossing, Riffle shooting, Pistol Shooting, Horse riding, Backwoodsman cooking and Boating were conducted. All the participants enjoyed the trekking to Dutches Fall, Apshara Vihar, Rajendra Giri, Lat Shrung, Chouragarh Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev, Priyadharshni & Pandav Cave. All Faith Prayer Meeting was organised. In the Closing Ceremony, Ms. M. N. Machmma, Dy. Director (G) Ldt. Trg., distributed Participation Certificates to all the participants. Appreciation Certificates were also presented to all the staff members. The camp was declared closed by Mr. Siddharth Mohanty, Asstt. Director (NAI) after lowering down the flag and singing National Anthem. The Programme was conducted by Mr. M. S. Qureshi, Jt. Director, NTC & Dy. Diredctor (Adv. Prog.) and ably assisted by dynamic staff members i.e., Mr. Siddharth Mohanty, Asstt. Director (NAI), Ms. Bilkish Shaikh, Jr. Instructor, Mr. Aman Singh, Jr. Instructor, Mr. Ashok Mohpatra, ROC (S), Mr. Sridhar Shaoo, Mr. Sazeed Mohammad, Mr. Sunil Patel, Mr. R.S. Thakur, Mr. Ghanshyam Raghuwansi, Mr. Ashwin and other invited staff.
