The 13th National Scouts Jamboree was organised by Fiji Scouters Council. It was a week long event. This national event was hosted by Labasa Scouters Council at Vunimoli Islamiya School. All the scouting districts in Fiji took part in this national event. There were about 1200 participants including scouts, leaders, executives, friends, families and villages. 990 participants took part in all the organised activities.1st Lautoka represented the jamboree with a contingent of 45 including scouts, leaders and helpers. The venue of the Jamboree was a beautiful site. The camping area was prepared to cater for the scouts from all over Fiji. The theme for the jamboree was 'Peace, Resilience and Sustainability '- Worth in North.There were a lot of activities organised which were worthy of praise and amount of effort put in the set up was greatly appreciated. All the scouts were involved in pitching of tents and set up of the camp site. The activities were organised in relateion to the theme on two other sub venues in order to cater for  the participation of all contingents. It was station based activities which mainly focussed on scouting and survival skills. Some of the activities involved were cooking,camp fire, gadget making and displays, water race, bilibili ride, MOP activities, songs, camp tours, hiking, tree planting, military base activities and tour of heritage sites like hot spring and Naag Mandir (Famous Temple). All the scouts maintained  clean water, sanitation and good hygiene. All the contingent maintained their scoutsgood  health and well being. All made a lot of friends by socialising and sharing their culture and ideas.All scouts learnt how to be responsible and to take proactive measures in looking after our environment. The jamboree taught every participant to have peace, show love to the mother nature and take positive actions for Climate Change.
