From the 25th of November to the 1st of December, the Petaling contingent of Selangor, Malaysia went to Kuala Lumpur for the 13th Malaysian Scouts Jamboree and 2016 Kuala Lumpur International Scouts Jamboree. The campsite were conquered by about 7,000 to 10,000 participating scouts, scouters and IST members, both locally and internationally. In this 7 days, I learned more about my country, made new bonds and strengthen lasting ones too. Activities ranged from base stationed activities to hiking and sightseeing the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Despite the rain that had poured every of the seven days and the muddy campsite that made it more challenging for us to feel the luxury of the campsite, we managed to survive and had lots of fun. These events don't come every week. Overall, I learn to cherish the moments in this event and learn new things. I hope to be given the oppurtunity to participate in these events again.
