1300 Scout members, 4500 Cedars trees planted
Main objective was raising awareness to 1300 young scout members about the importance of Cedars trees in our history & ecosystem, sustainably managing forests & combat desertification by planting 4500 Cedars trees in Arz Bcharre mountain.
Objective was raising awareness to 1300 young scout members about the importance of Cedars trees in our history & ecosystem, sustainably managing forests & combat desertification by planting 4500 Cedars trees in Arz Bcharre mountain.
*we did a Reforestation event collaborating with Friends of Cedars Forest Committee they did provide cedars trees and location.
We provided transportation, food & water for 1300 scout from all over Lebanon to participate and plant the trees
Impacted people are General community and specifically our scout community we directly impacted 1400 scout member & indirectly affecting their family members and friends by social media and through sharing their experiences. helping raising awareness about the importance of Cedars trees in our history & ecosystem, sustainably managing forests & combat desertification
Ability to provide all the logistics and funding for a huge event despite all the situation in Lebanon and devaluation happening daily while finding instant solution for all incoming problems and collaborating with all the scout Maronite chiefs in order to execute such a huge event
