Youth-Led Climate Action Workshop.
In the heart of Embu, Kenya a vibrant group of Scouts, Rovers and Leaders gathered for an informative workshop. Under the banner of Green Skills for Youth-Led Climate Action and inspired by the Green Rising movement, we came together to prepare for the most important mission of our time: Healing the Planet.
Organized by Kenya Scout Association in partnership with WOSM and UNICEF, the workshop was packed with tools, insights, and calls to action. We explored green skills and green jobs that are shaping the future of work. We got hands-on with the Food for Life program realizing that food security, sustainability, and climate action are deeply connected. Through the Champions for Nature challenge badge, we were empowered to lead environmental projects in our own communities.
What truly stood out wasn’t just the content, it was the determination in the room. Every participant shared a fire, a passion to build a better world for generations to come. That collective energy was contagious.
For me, something shifted. Watching my story unfold through the eyes of my peers lit a spark in me, to not only dream of a greener space in my community, but to create it.
