Youth Leadership Training Course 2024 in Bangladesh by APR

A regional workshop organized by Asia-Pacific Regional Support Centre (APR), with the support of Bangladesh scouts was held from June 24-27, 2024 titled “APR Youth Leadership Training”. The workshop was focused on adapting leadership abilities through the value system of scouting.

The participants were engaged in group exercised and activities with the learning focus on developing skills in flexible and responsive leadership. The sessions covered real-world scenarios to adapt the leadership styles in this diverse and evolving global realities. Through the role-playing methods, participants were provided with immediate feedback system to navigate the complex situations through mind mapping techniques. Furthermore, the group activities were initiated and at the end a sharing sessions were carried out to forge out the new strategies on different leadership style practiced around the globe alongside the adaptability of an individual in the leadership roles. This was further supported through case studies that were part of the learning exercises.

At the end, the participants displayed their increased confidence and competence in the knowledge circle around leadership areas around managing dynamic situations. The feedback session suggested a strong appreciation for the blending knowledge of practical and theoretical components of the training particularly emphasizing the case studies. The project is implemented as part of the International Leadership Training, a world initiative focused on nurturing leadership skills.
