
Yewa Provincial Scout Council lay Secretariat foundation
The Yewa Provincial Scout Council of Ogun State (The Scout Association of Nigeria) has taken a giant stride to actualise its sustainable growth plan by laying the foundation stone for a provincial secretariat yesterday Sat 29th July 2017.
The event which took place at ilaro , the provincial headquarters of Yewa land on the council acquired plot of land was witnessed by the State Scout Commissioner, Prince Kola Adewale and his predecessor, Pastor R.B.BABATUNDE, Provincial Committee members and Senior scout leaders.
The building project initiated by the outgoing Provincial Commissioner, now SHQ Commissioner, Program, Prince BISI ENITAN is borne out of desire to have a permanent secretariat for administrative and logistics support for all the Districts and LA in the Province.
Yewa Province has became the second of such provinces in Ogun state building a Secretariat, the first been REMO Province whose project is currently at roofing stage.
The SSC prince Kola Adewale and immediate past SSC, Pastor Babatunde in their separate speeches commended the proactive ness of Yewa Province that had remained the Award winning province in the last four years. They appealed to well meaning individuals to support the project aimed at youth development.
