World No Tobacco Day Virtual Drawing Competition

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Bharat Scout and Guide, District Udhampur organized a Virtual Drawing Competition for public awareness. On this occasion, students made people aware of the losses due to tobacco consumption by drawing on the chart. Guide Captain Divya Duve told that Scout-Guides of Amardeep High School and KC Gurukul Public School participated in this competition. Certificates will be given to the best three contestants in the competition. Scout master Amardev Singh said that the use of tobacco should be banned globally or it should be stopped because it causes many diseases. District Joint Secretary Rakesh Sharma said that at present the Corona transition has been a cause of concern among the people. In this situation, many people want to quit tobacco consumption. Taking advantage of this opportunity, we should support them with counseling and treatment. And on the other hand some people are doing the work of spreading the infection by consuming tobacco, pan masala, etc., which is dangerous for human life and is also a punishable offense. Shakti Dubey, Principal of Amardeep School, Scout Master Rakesh Singh and Guide Captain Priyanka Sharma were included in the jury. The first award was given by Akshar Khajuria, second by Sumit and third by Irfat. Principal Shakti Dubey and District Secretary greeted the winners and motivated them to participate in similar competitions in future so that the all round development of the students could be done.
