
VISIT OF AMAKO CUBS TO THE STATE SCOUT SECRETARIAT
On 10th June 2015, the little Scouts from the Dora Amako International Primary and Nursery School Aladinma Owerri Imo State Nigeria paid a familiarization visit to the State Scout Headquarters Orlu Road old Secretariat to see how the management of the State Scouting is run.
They were led by their Trainer Mr Princewill OKORO in the company of their School Proprietress Dr (Mrs) NNEOMA Dora AMAKO.
The children numbering eighteen were received by the State Training/Education Commissioner Mr Christian NOSIRI and were later taking round the secretariat to be shown the meager facilities the Scout office have for an office.
The Assistant National Headquarters Commissioner for Gender Balance Mrs AGU Angela IJEOMA later came in to drill the children on Scouting games and songs, while the Assistant National Headquarter Commissioner for Social Impact took the kids on the rudiments of Scouting and pioneering.
The Training Commissioner used the opportunity to issue the children their membership cards to enable them begin preparations for their investiture billed to hold when the School authority may deem fit.
