Partnership for goals is one of the most effective ways towards a healthy planet. Lake Victoria - Kisumu County, is negatively affected by pollution - this calls for joined hands towards reclaiming it back and preventing more pollution. We, the community members & youths, being responsible for 80% conservation of our environment gives us a responsibility and a reason to rise up and defend our pride, the livelihood of millions in Africa, and World's largest tropical lake. On 17th April 2026, Blue Planet Warriors joined hands together with environmental conservation organizations in Kisumu towards a common goal of protecting and preserving Lake Victoria, from pollution. Lake Victoria, World's largest tropical lake, and a livelihood to millions in Africa, is dying a silent death from pollution, which comes from our ignorance, over-dependecy on single-use plastics, unhealthy production & consumption among others. Collaboration towards the common goal of protecting and preserving Lake Victoria will ultimately bring a meaningful positive impact and bring back Lake Victoria - a once healthy and clean Lake. A single positive action made by 1 million people, equals to a million positive change, and an undeniable impact
