Tsinelas para sa Kaakian sa Dagat | Bagacay Outfit 723

Aside from the glow brought by sparkling lights and glittering decorations, the most wonderful season of the year is shining even brighter as people rejoice from the birth of Jesus Christ, grant wishes and receive presents. Gift giving will always remain as one of the long lasting and unforgettable traditions of Filipino during Christmas season.

In order to feel the true happiness, the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners-Camarines Chapter, Bagacay Outfit Club, Association of Agents of Resilient Communities Inc., Kasama Halal Producers Cooperative, Cosplayer Community of Bicol and other generous individual sponsors in cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Siruma successfully conducted the Sagip Aki outreach program, a stress debriefing activity for the children of the coastal communities of Siruma.

The recipients of the said activity are 120 indigent children of Siruma affected by typhoons Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses. The activity was able to distribute 100 hygiene kits containing, toothbrush, toothpaste, alcohol, sanitary napkin, and facemask, also lootbags for the kids with assorted biscuits and candies, and 100 jolibbee spaghetti, burger, and dutchmill were served as snacks. Toys were also given away as prizes for the games played by the children present.

In additional, another gift-giving program entitled 'Tsinelas para sa Kaakian sa Bongcao' were performed. The 200 slippers were able to give in the indigenous community of Sitio Bongcao at Barangay Curry, Pili, Camarines Sur. As the volunteers witness the angelic smile of the children, the collaborators were very satisfied and proud of what they have done.

Let us always remember that gifts are just stuffs and Christmas should be deeply felt in our hearts. This is the perfect season where we can express our appreciation to one another. The season where people feel the presence of God in each one of us. And as Mother Teresa said, "It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving."
