Training of trainers of assistant leaders

Among the National Scout Organizations spread in 11 countries in Africa; 20 Tily Eto Madagasikara Scouts composed of District Commissioners and National Commissioners attended the training of trainers of assistant leaders organized by the World Scout Bureau-Africa support center from 01 to 03 April 2022 and then from 8 to 10 April 2022.

As the situation of the COVID 19 pandemic is slowly improving in many countries, as we prepare to have physical activities soon, this training is organized virtually in order to reach many volunteers in the process saving the resources needed for such activities.

Scouting is one of the most important areas in which young people can contribute to the achievement of the Development Goals (SDGs); this activity contributes in the expectation of SDG 4 which aims to ensure access to equitable, free and quality education for all throughout the life cycle, including eliminating gender and income disparities.

This leadership training contributes to providing "better scouting for more young people" by continuously improving the quality of training and development of adults involved in the Movement, and by strengthening their sense of unity.
