Uganda national competition camp these year checked the a ability of scouts to face life mentally and physically,we the scouts from soroti were not left out,we participated actively in these 2019 national competitions,our scouts answered theoretical (Bases) and practical questions(projects), amidst construction works on the camping site,they built the kitchen,store and dinning(three in one good),latrine,urinal and bathroom (three in one good),the main tent. our scouts a team of junior scouts,venture scouts and rover scouts also enjoyed the challenge valley activities, the cultural night,the talent night and finally the grand campfire. we as Soroti emerged fourth overall in these years national competitions,we are striving hard to face next years Jamboree. The Soroti leadership fully participated in organising,planning the activities in the camp,we heard Sseno Patrick(our district commissioner) as the camp commandant, we had Icumar Patrick (our district treasurer) as team leader first Aid,Biyargaba David (our District executive commissioner) as the sub camp chief junior section, Auma pascal as sub camp chief non competing girl scouts,Osiko mustafa as life guide and team leader swimming department,Opolot Daniel participated in first Aid department activity,Oula Benjamin participated in the sub camp chief junior section.
