MANILA - Members of Scout Oscar M. Alcaraz Community Scout 425 joined in the celebration of the International Day of Peace today. Every year on September 21, the world comes together to commemorate International Day of Peace (also known as World Peace Day) in an effort to promote and reinforce the values of peace within and between all nations and peoples. The International Day of Peace is a hopeful reminder of what we can do when we work together in a time when war and violence dominate our news cycles. An easy-to-understand message of solidarity for scouting and against racism is shown on a placard by the scouts as they celebrate International Day of Peace.
