This project was inspired by our commitment to social responsibility and the core values of scouting. Seeing the growing impact of energy wastage and environmental challenges motivated us to take action. We wanted to empower students and communities with practical knowledge on energy conservation, helping them adopt responsible habits and contribute towards a sustainable and greener future. Edit We executed the project at Nandanbakkam Government Higher Secondary School with the kind support of the Principal and teachers. After obtaining permission, we organized interactive sessions, demonstrations, and awareness activities on energy conservation. With their guidance and cooperation, we engaged students actively, encouraged participation, and ensured the programme was conducted smoothly and effectively. Edit Through this project, we learned the importance of teamwork, planning, and effective communication. We understood how small actions can create meaningful change when guided with purpose. Interacting with students improved our leadership and confidence. Most importantly, we realized that spreading awareness about energy conservation requires patience, creativity, and commitment to inspire lasting responsible behavior.
