The Scouts and Guides of France, a National Scout Association that continuously develops its international relations

Scouting has been an international movement for many years. The Scouts and Guides of France (Scouts et Guides de France/SGDF), through its presence in an active global network, has been involved in various events and initiatives – Jamborees or Moots, partnerships with other local and international organisations as well as Scout projects. Recently, through Service Civique, a French volunteer programme for young people between the ages of 16 and 25, 11 volunteers were given the opportunity to serve the Scout Movement in various countries. Elise Drouet, International Commissioner of the SGDF, said: “I would like to thank all these young volunteers who will dedicate a year to serve Scouting at National Scout Organizations, 2018 Roverway and the World Scout Bureau, as well as all the mentors and tutors for their time! You’re definitely making a positive impact on our volunteers and association!”
