SCOUT & GUIDE OF BERHAMPUR GIVES A WAKEUP CALL

The scout and guide wing of Berhampur was in the news for giving a wake up call to the local administration about their gross negligence to a pressing problem. This time they took up the challenge of repairing the the Gosaninuagaon main road connecting to NH 216 which was in a very dilapidated condition filled with pits and big pebbles. The monsoon rain had made the road horrible and the travelling totally dangerous and risky. The scout and guide wing of DAV Berhampur Odisha along with 40 cadet reached the place to repair. Their manual effort with took of spade crowbar and pickaxe changed the condition of the road. Being supervised by guide captain swapna Rani Panigrahi and principal incharge Ms Dharashree padi and ICT teacher Mr Samir Kumar Panigrahi the team gave the road a different look and made it smooth and easy for commuting. Their initiative was highly acclaimed by all. It also dragged the attention of the media. Briefing The media Guide Captain ms Swapna Panigrahi explained about the objective of the mission and pleaded them to highlight the problem for a lasting solution by local administration.
