May 17, 2021, Department of Environment and Natural Resourece with the partnership of Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Messengers of Peace - Philippines, some local councils and some commmunity based scouting launched “Scouts: Tayo ang kalikasan” banner towards responsible development of our natural resources and to ensure the restoration, rehabilitation, and enhancement of the environment. San Mateo Municipal Rover Scouts Mission Circle 10 SANGALAB from Rizal Council, Southern Tagalog Region is one of the community based scouting was chosen to be part of the said program.

SANGALAB circle 10  is a community based rover scouting circle based in San Mateo, Rizal aiming to become a game changer in the field of scouting focus on community service. One of the sustainable project of the circle is the Urban Gardening and Plastic Zero that promotes better community and green environment that fit to the advocacy of Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Messengers of Peace Philippines, Messengers of Peace - Philippines, Better World Framework and Scout for Sustainable Development Goal.
