Expedition allows a Scout to fully immerse himself or herself into the communities and cultural experiences along the way. It is also a platform for Scouts to apply their scouting knowledge as well as to develop their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. At the same time, Scout expeditions enable a continuous positive relationship between Scouts and the surrounding communities. The Rovers Towards Adventure 2022 is a program where Scouts from KLKM UKM participated in an expedition by foot for a total of 60 km. The program lasted for three days and two nights. Scouts travelled to 8 checkpoints in the regions of Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Dengkil. A stop at each checkpoint involved completing given tasks and providing services for the venue such as a clean-up. Through this project, we were able to meet with other Scout unit members along the way that expressed their need for an expedition as well after the COVID-19 Pandemic was over. We were also able to establish partnerships with the institutions that were our checkpoints as well as to promote a sustainable environment through our clean-up activities to the public. On top of all, we were able to build friendship with people along the way through sharing of stories and experiences. The expedition taught us to value our Scouting knowledge as it will be in need at all times along the way in becoming an active citizen. The memories we created together as participating Scouts as well as with the people along the way motivates us to value our lives because there are always good people in this world that cares for each other.
