Besides of the challenges imposed by the pandemic, the scouting in Mozambique is currently undergoing deep structural changes. Our NSO is implementing an action plan which enhances the need for a more close work relationship between the central, provincial and district entities. The communication is currently less effective due to a: (i) weak engagement at different levels, (ii) lack of proper training and resources, as well as to the (iii) wideness of the country which requires a functional structure to oversee and support effectively the scouting unities throughout the country. A good approach to these issues will surely lift up our movement and enable our scouts to engage for changes in their local communities.
