From 25th to 26th March,2023 the rajya puraskar testing camp was held for scouts & rovers at the State training centre, Ganganagar (West Bengal). Personally, it was my second testing camp after almost 6 years when I had gone for a similar testing but as a scout. The scouts as well as rovers were asked to report at 09.00 am for their registration. The registration was followed by flag ceremony after which the the respective practical exams on each topics were held one after the other- Mapping, BSG Prayer & Flag song, and compass. Following the lunch, we had the tests for first aid, estimation and pioneering. In the evening, it was time for log book checking for both scouts as well as rovers. For the next day, we had to wake up at 5.30 am to report for the B.P. 6 exercises test along with morning jerk. After breakfast we had the theory exam followed by a test on lashings. It was a great experience overall.
