The gathering saw active participation of more than 200 scouts and guides, representing schools from across the district. The purpose of the day was inclined towards creating a platform for young people to validate their skill sets while being awarded with the associated proficiency badges prescribed within the youth programme framework. Volunteers verified the certificates and processed the requests for issuing proficiency badges. The presence and involvement of the badge secretaries helped scouts and guides secure signatures while being guided on the path ahead. The day embodied the irrepressible spirit of learning by doing and symbolised the propagation in the path of continuous and lifelong learning.
