The Kenya Scouts Association with support from the World Scout Bureau, Africa Support Centre has trained 60 Rovers and Unit Leaders from 14 Counties in Kenya as Tide Turners Plastic Challenge Ambassadors. The 3 workshops happened in Embu County involving Young Leaders from the 4 counties in Nairobi Metropolitan, Bungoma County involving young leaders from the Western Region of Kenya and Mombasa County involving young leaders from the Coastal Region of Kenya. The main aim of the workshops was to build the capacity of the participants on the Tide Turners Plastic Challenge so that they can disseminate the information to the grassroot level.
