The purpose of scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full potential in the six dimensional areas as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. These six dimensional areas are: physically, intellectually, spiritually, socially, emotionally and character wise. Yesterday Kenyatta University Panthera Crew FC met University of Nairobi Kili Crew FC in a spirited friendly match at UON Lower Kabete grounds and UON Kili FC emerged victorious. Bravo! Despite it being an intracrew fun activity scouting served its purpose in that members of both crews interacted, bonded and exercised and this helped in achieving physical fitness, socialization, intellectual and character growth which are all among the six dimensional areas.
