On 7th of March 2024, Gelephu HSS Scouts Association conducted the opening ceremony of scouts 2024. The scouts focal person and Leader Trainers of the school organized the event to kick off another scouting journey for the year 2024. The program started with the welcome speech followed by a few cultural items. The main highlights of the event were: 1) a report by Scout Kinley Lhendup on his 18th Leadership Trainers Training journey at Norbuling HSS for a duration of two weeks. 2) Investiture ceremony for class 9 students for successfully completing the membership test in their lower school. All the participants recited scouts' promise and its law before the investiture ceremony, making their hands in scouts sign. Refreshments were also served to both the teachers and students. The event ended with the vote of thanks by Mr. Choeda Thinley (vice focal). All the students rejoiced in experiencing such a graceful event.
