Nobel Laureate, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi coronates as Chief Scout of Myanmar Scout Association and Myanmar Girl Guide at the oath taking ceremony held at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, University of Yangon Today. She became the 2nd Chief scout of Myanmar after her predecessor, retired former president U Thein Sein who assigned as the very first national level chief scout of Myanmar in 2014. Myanmar scout was already stared in 1916 but suspend awhile in 1964. Then, it reactivated in 2012 again under the arrangement of Ministry of Education and World Organization of Scout Movement made an official declaration for Myanmar in returning at the WOSM in 2016.
