A new Scout commemorative cover was launched in Bali to commemorated the 28th International Scout and Guide Fellowship (ISGF) World Conference which been held at Inna Bali Beach Hotel, Sanur, Bali, from 9 to 14 October 2017. The philatelic cover was signed on the opening ceremony of the conference on 9 October 2017 night by the Director General for Politics and General Government, Ministry of Home Affairs Republic of Indonesia, Major General (Retired) Soedarmo, as the chief guest at the opening ceremony. The cover also signed by the Chairperson of the ISGF World Committee, Mida Rodrigues, the Chairman of Indonesia ISGF called Hipprada, Prof. Dr. Haryono Suyono, and on behalf of the Director of Post, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Eko Wahyuanto. Besides that commemorative cover there also another philatelic cover issued by the Indonesian Philatelists Association Bali Branch. This philatelic cover issued in quantity of only 200 covers, numbered from 001/200 to 200/200. The philatelic cover number 001/200 and 002/200 has been signed Mida Rodrigues and Prof. Dr. Haryono Suyono. As for your information, the participants of the ISGF conference are more than 400 participants from 66 countries, whom some of them also collecting stamps and other philatelic items. In Indonesia itself there is a lot of stamp collectors who collected Scouts on Stamps on their collections. In Bali, there also some philately activities for the Scouts, which also in cooperation with the Indonesian Philatelists Association Bali Branch, opened a booth in the conference. In the booth, they exhibit their Scout philatelic collections and also sell some Scout philatelic items which been appreciated by the participants of the conference.
