=====================
With the support of the local partners: Myanmar YMCA, Habitat for Humanity Myanmar and Sailors' Society UK, Myanmar Scout has organized a full-day event of Scouting activities in celebration of Founder's Day, the day when Lord Baden Powell was born.
A two-hours formal session in the morning was filled with invited speakers talking about Gender Equality in Scouting, and awareness raising about how scouts are involved in community services.
Ms. Shin Thant Hlaing from Brainworks' Scout Unit also shared her experience during the 24th World Scout Jamboree which was held last year in USA.
In the evening session, Mr. Min Min Htet from West Yangon University Scout Unit also shared his experience gained during the recent 9th Sharjah International Scout Gathering in UAE.
After that, the audience are split up into five breakout groups to discuss about the main five topics; WOSM Services & Better World Framework, Dialogue for Peace, Messengers of Peace, Gender Equality, and Membership Growth. Each session is facilitated by the young scout members who are interested and in learning the respective areas.
