KUALA LUMPUR- The first group of Rovers from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and Penang State received their highest achievement awards in Scouting namely Scouts of the World Award. The international level awards were presented by the Chief Scout of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Paduka Dr. Haji Shafie bin Haji Mohd Salleh during the Rovers gathering in conjunction with 13th Malaysian Scout Jamboree at Batu Metropolitan Park. The award is a prestigious award recognized by World Organization of Scout movement (WOSM) and awarded to Scout and non- Scout who done their service project which known for a great impact toward community.
