School Children in most schools are facing big problem of clean drinking water and this situation affect the children in terms of weekly absence of due to water and hygiene related diseases infections, some children decide to remain home because of lack of water in the school as a result their performances drops. Some children drop out of school because water problem as the parents could afford to buy their children bottled water due to the hard economic situation. The little support from the WSB/ASC MoP fund was able to provide 5 plastic water tanks of 2000 ltres and 10 hand washing containers of 100 ltres to five schools only in Juba yet the demand remain high as there are many schools in Juba and other towns.
