During the Kisumu National Agricultural Show 2026 organized by the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK), we had the opportunity of engaging with the public who visited the show. The annual five-day event which took place from Wednesday, 22nd July to Sunday, 26th July 2026 held at the Mamboleo ASK Showground in Kisumu gave us a platform to engage with schools & Institutions, Students, Government & Non-governmental organizations, Institutes, Cooperatives, Companies, Businesses and Community members, where we: - Shared insight on plastic pollution on Lake Victoria - Had amplified awareness on the causes and sources of plastic pollution on Lake Victoria - Shared activities & sessions that we have been engaging in towards protecting and bringing back Lake Victoria from plastic pollution - Shared behavioral change strategies & call-to-action towards protecting and conserving our environment and Lake Victoria from plastic pollution The event saw a good number of participants taking key notes, making enquiries, and showing interest to join the move towards protecting this vital source of livelihood and Africa's gem- Lake Victoria.
