The exams were cancelled and a strict lockdown was imposed. The COVID 19 reduced the social interaction and the scout activities such as crew meetings, hikes, scouts class, and many more. In the meantime, WOSM came up with the JOTI (Jamboree On the Internet) 2020 Special Edition. While I had heard about the event previously when I was in a school troop, I was never eager to participate in online Jamboree because I had another option to participate in physical presence in events: jamboree, hikes, camps, social services. Therefore, I registered for JOTI 2020 Special Edition, along with the seniors of my crew. The event introduced Covid 19, awarded about the possible medium of transmission and also addressed the common misconceptions which were existing in the community. I also had a fun time participating in an online tea time, and campfire, on the last day. There was an open platform to talk with the scouts around the world. Besides these, the event has many activities, related to SDGs, which includes reading materials, games, quizzes, crafts, DIYs, recorded videos, and others. To sum up, the engagement in JOTI 2020 Special Edition was one of the lifetime experiences, which during the time of covid, was the panacea to the scouts.
