BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 13, 2018 - The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association organized the "Jalinan Kasih" (spreading Love) Program in conjunction with the Brunei Scouts Family Day celebration and in conjunction with the 85th anniversary of the Brunei Darussalam Scout Movement. at Multipurpose Hall on Level 5, Headquarters of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association. Among the objectives of the event are to familiarize and strengthen relationships between family members and provide opportunities for members of the scout family to engage in charitable activities through donations of fundraising, respect for the spirit of cooperation, respect for and inculcate values purely through charity activities and also to foster and celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Scout Movement in Brunei Darussalam. The program also includes various events and activities such as Weaving Mat, Square Knot contest , making bridges using newspaper contest, Kim's Game, and environmental awareness exhibition by members of the Scout Scouts. The highlight of the event on the day was the handing over of donations, which were collected from the public as well as scout members, in the form of basic needs such as rice, canned food and so on to selected members of the less privileged Scouts. Present at the program, Haji Matusin bin Orang Kaya Sura Haji Tuba, the President of Brunei Scouts Association, who was also the guest of honor at the event. Also present were Deputy President of PPNBD, Deputy President of PPNBD, Haji Damit bin Haji Chuchu, Chief Commissioner, Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali, Acting Deputy Chief Commissioner, Junaidi bin Haji Hussin.
